Bring Climate Science to Life with the Climate Fresk Workshop
Looking for an interactive way to engage your students or colleagues with climate change? The Climate Fresk is a dynamic, science-based workshop that makes the complexities of climate change understandable, collaborative, and empowering. Over the course of three hours, participants work together using a unique, card-based format to explore the causes and consequences of climate change—drawing directly from the latest IPCC reports.
Led by TU Dublin Sustainability Education Leads, facilitators can help you bring the Climate Fresk experience into your classroom, programme or function. Each Faculty has a dedicated Climate Fresk facilitator and workshops are delivered with a ration of one facilitator for every 14 participants.
The Climate Fresk methodology doesn’t involve an expert presenting information to the group; Climate Fresk is hands-on and participant-led, encouraging deep discussion, critical thinking, and co-learning. As participants build the ‘Fresk’ together, they gain powerful insights into the systemic nature of the climate crisis—and leave feeling connected, motivated, and ready to act.
