TU Dublin Walktober Leaderboard 2025
The National Transport Authority's Walktober step challenge 2025 is now complete and TU Dublin is delighted to announce our final internal Leaderboard.
Over the month of October, 15 TU Dublin teams collectively walked 3,772,429 steps - a remarkable achievement that highlights our commitment to both health and sustainability. By increasing physical activity and choosing to walk more often, participants made efforts to increase their health and well-being, with the added benefit of contributing to sustainability goals.
We are delighted to announce the top three teams for their outstanding efforts - goodie bags are being prepared for you.
- π₯ Part-Time Walkers – 414,514 steps.
- π₯ Dexy's Midday Walkers – 389,079 steps.
- π₯ TU Dublin Sustainability – 355,419 steps.
Congratulations to 'Part-Time Walkers who ranked as the winning team within TU Dublin. Team members include Ariele Calajate, Doireann Moroney, June Kinahan McElhinney, Kevin-Catapang, Ninoshka Fernandes and Shania D’Souza.
The next step challenge will be the Marchathon which takes place in March 2026 - we welcome all students and staff to get involved.
