Updates to car park management across TU Dublin campuses
TU Dublin would like to invite all staff and students to familiarise themselves with the recent updates to car park management across TU Dublin campuses.
From 1 September 2025, APCOA will manage car parking and permit systems across all TU Dublin campuses.
As part of this change, paid parking will be introduced and will be in effect year-round, i.e., 12 months a year.
Annual and semester permits for the 2025/2026 academic year will be available for purchase in September before the academic term begins. The portal will be updated to reflect the new charging model.
Charging model
- Annual permits are priced at €80
- Semester permits are available for €40
- Pay and Display (P&D) parking will be available at Grangegorman, Blanchardstown and Tallaght car parks, (specific details on P&D can be found here)
- P&D users can pay with cash or card via the onsite machines or via a smartphone using either the APCOA Connect App or by scanning the QR code on signposts.
Those who are eligible to purchase a permit and wish to use campus parking facilities must purchase a permit online using their TU Dublin email address.
A permit entitles permit holders to park in valid TU Dublin spaces, but it does not guarantee the availability of a space. Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis, and demand may exceed supply during peak times. Where possible and practical, please consider sustainable and alternative ways to commute to campus.
