The webinar will be hosted by Rosie Webb, Head of Decarbonization at TU Dublin, and will include an overview of TU Dublin’s Climate Action Roadmap.
As part of Ireland’s national Climate Action Plan, TU Dublin has committed to ambitious targets, including a 51% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and a 50% improvement in energy efficiency by 2030. The seminar will explore the challenges of achieving these goals while the university continues to grow in terms of student numbers, staff, and infrastructure.
The seminar will also outline the roadmap’s governance, staff engagement, and key actions to close the gap to emissions targets, alongside its ongoing expansion into a broader sustainability strategy incorporating Scope 3 emissions, sustainable education and research, and innovation initiatives.
