Senior Sustainability Action and Innovation Research Assistant

Leo McConnell joined as a Senior Research Assistant on TU Dublin’s Sustainability Action Research and Innovation Team. Leo is a graduate of Maynooth University where he gained a variety of quantitative and qualitative research skills working on a number of climate science and social science projects. Leo’s Undergraduate thesis achieved Highly Commended at the 2022 Global Undergraduate Awards, and he was the recipient of the 2022/23 Maynooth University Taught Masters Scholarship. After completing a MSc in Climate Change at Maynooth University, Leo joined the team in August 2023, and he works on a number of projects between TU Dublin and Bohemian Football Club that engage local communities in various forms of community-led climate action in order to enhance climate adaptation, community resilience, and liveability.
