Dr Etain Kidney

Dr Etain Kidney is Director and Dean of the Faculty of Business at TU Dublin and a member of the University Directorate. Previously, she served as Head of the School of Marketing and Entrepreneurship, Assistant Head of School, and Lecturer in Entrepreneurship and Marketing. Her academic qualifications include a PhD in Inclusive Entrepreneurship, an MA in Higher Education, an MSc in Business and Entrepreneurship, and a BA in Philosophy and English.
Etain is an experienced academic leader with strengths in strategy, enterprise engagement, and inclusive education. She has led and collaborated on nationally and internationally funded projects with academic, industry, and community partners, translating research into practical impact in entrepreneurship, inclusion and business.
Etain also has extensive governance experience as a non-executive director and currently serves on the boards of Dublin Simon Community and the Marketing Institute of Ireland. She believes the future of business education lies in being practice-based, responsible and deeply connected to enterprise, equipping people to live, work and lead in a rapidly changing world.
