WorkIQ

A new partnership was established between WorkIQ, a hub for start-ups and growing enterprises in South Dublin, and the School through a Memorandum of Understanding signed in the Summer of 2024. Although no formal programmes are being offered at this early stage, the collaboration aims to provide students with access to innovation and entrepreneurship resources, as well as opportunities for work experience. Students have been invited to WorkIQ for interactive events, mentoring sessions, and hands- on experiences designed to bridge the gap between academia and industry. These initiatives will allow students to engage directly with local innovators, connect with like-minded peers, and develop essential skills for the modern job market. To ensure the quality of provision, lecturers and mentors are present to facilitate all sessions. The primary target participants for these initiatives are current students, with over 100 students having benefited from the partnership to date. Financially, the operation is cost-neutral, ensuring its sustainability without imposing additional financial burdens
