Mathematics students @ Zurich
The School was delighted to visit its students from the programme TU874 BSc Mathematics & Statistics who have been working at Zurich as part of the third year of their studies. Zurich is an amazing employer and a leader in their sector. Therefore, our students have the opportunity to gain enormously valuable practical experience and develop their knowledge and skills for later careers.
We were immensely proud to see how TU874 students Róisín Timmons and Lauren Curtis had developed during this experience. Lauren and Róisín are working with the Data Analytics Group, developing data solutions for a wide range of applications in the insurance sector. They are gaining invaluable hands-on experience and doing a great job.
We would like to express a huge "thank you" to their manager, Rob Doyle, and his team for playing a key role in developing our students’ skills and confidence. Best of luck to Róisín and Lauren on the rest of their placement journey. They are a credit to our School!
