Dr. Ruth Lang Lecture

We're delighted to invite to all staff and students to attend a lecture by Dr. Ruth Lang on Friday March 24th at 1-2pm in Rm. 281, Bolton St. 

Lecture Title: 
'BUILDING FOR CHANGE: DEVELOPING SOCIAL, ENVIRONMENTAL AND ECONOMIC ACTIVITY THROUGH ADPATIVE REUSE'
Ruth's visit on March 23rd and 24th is part of the Resilient Design Curricula project.

Dr Ruth Lang is an architect, researcher, writer, and senior lecturer in professional practice at the Royal College of Art and the London School of Architecture. As lead researcher in the Design Museum’s Future Observatory, she is exploring the hurdles to adopting low embodied carbon construction in the housebuilding sector, and identifying ways in which these can be overcome by using the Design Museum as a springboard for innovative practice. She recently published 'Building for Change: The Architecture of Creative Reuse' (2022).
