Research into Challenges on Legal Form for Social Enterprises in Ireland

Published: 20 Jun, 2022

Rethink Ireland and the Department of Rural and Community Development commissioned Tanya Lalor, Method Consultants, and Dr Gerard Doyle, TU Dublin Environment and Planning, to undertake research to assess the impact of different legal forms utilised by social enterprises and to discern whether or not a distinct legal form would be of value or necessary to social enterprises in Ireland. This is one of the commitments made in the National Social Enterprise Policy for Ireland 2019-2022.
