'Studio Properties: A Field Guide to Design Education'
We are delighted to welcome James Benedict Brown and Derek Jones two of the co-authors of the new book 'Studio Properties: A Field Guide to Design Education' to the School of Architecture, Building and Environment, TU Dublin from 1pm Wednesday 3rd December. Following the book launch, James and Derek will give a short presentation on the research leading to the book which has been described as an 'unparalleled guide for educators and students navigating the complexities of design education' (Prof Ashraf M Salama, University of Northumbria').
All welcome to join us in the Linenhall Gallery 1-2pm Wednesday 3rd December.
Following the launch James and Derek will also be hosting a workshop in Linenhall for students and staff from 2.30-4pm on the key themes which are explored in the book: Visibilities and Proximities, Foundations and Methods, Expertise and Identity, Time and Structures, Artefacts and Making, Interactions and Sociality, Atmospheres and Place.
