TU Dublin students have an exciting opportunity this summer to explore the rich cultural heritage of China through an immersive Summer School hosted by Shanghai Polytechnic University (SSPU), one of TU Dublin’s valued partner universities.
Running from 10 to 30 June 2025, the programme offers a vibrant mix of classes and cultural activities, including:

Huaiyang Cuisine – one of China’s four great cooking traditions

Yixing Ceramic Art – world-renowned for its unique style and craftsmanship

Chinese Traditional Culture – including calligraphy, tea ceremony and more

Chinese Language – language sessions tailored to beginners and advanced learners
Whether you’re passionate about food, art, language or culture, this summer school offers a hands-on way to deepen your understanding and appreciation of Chinese traditions.
Flexible Participation and Scholarship Support
Participants can choose to attend for two weeks or the full three-week programme, making it easier to fit into your summer plans.
Even better, two full scholarships are available exclusively to TU Dublin students. These scholarships will cover the full tuition fee and will be awarded based on the relevance of studies and/or Chinese language proficiency.
