9th EuChemS Chemistry Congress (ECC9) 2024
Dr Diako Khodaei and Bradley Afanda recently attended the 9th EuChemS Chemistry Congress (ECC9) 2024 in the convention centre, Dublin. Diako presented his work on the Development of a method for the analysis of nitrosamines in bacon using GC-MS/MS. Bradley presented his research on Trace analysis of chloride, nitrite and nitrate in processed meat products using a novel and validated 2-dimensional ion chromatography method. This work is carried out in collaboration with Prof Martin Danaher, Teagasc and Prof Christine O'Connor, School of Food Science and Environmental Health.
