The School of Food Science and Environmental Health hosted their Annual Research and Innovation Showcase 2025 on 12 May 2025 in Central Quad, Grangegorman.
The School together with the Institute of Brewing and Distilling hosted a fascinating presentation on “Looking and tasting good: thoughts on beer stability and haze” – on the 11th June 2024. The lecture was by the world-renowned brewing scientist and author, Charlie Bamforth, Distinguished Professor Emeritus from the University of California, Davis! Attendees were also provided with a tour of our brewing and distilling facilities, discussed ongoing research activities and enjoyed refreshments. The event was kindly sponsored by Diageo, Heineken and Whiplash.
