Researchers from TU Dublin, mainly from the School of Food Science and Environmental Health, who are generally also affiliated with ESHI, have contributed 19 of the 80 Abstracts TU Dublin to the 51st Annual Food Science and Technology Conference 'Food Systems in a Changing World- the Science, Challenges and Opportunities', 6-7 December, Teagasc, Ashtown.
 
This includes selection for nine Oral presentations, demonstrating our significant contribution nationally. The research is very aligned to the TU Dublin research strategic objectives for agri-food sustainability and circular bioeconomy, with researchers presenting in sessions including 'Safe, healthy and sustainable food innovation', 'Zero waste approaches to address food loss and waste', 'Addressing climate challenges in agri-food production' and 'Bio-based solutions for food production and processing'.
