5th All Island Ireland Bioeconomy Summit

On Tuesday 19th May 2026, researchers from the TU Dublin School of Food Science and Environmental Health attended the 5th All Island Ireland Bioeconomy Summit. Research activity showcased at the TU Dublin stand attracted a lot of interest from participants with over 350 attendees at the Summit.
Speaking of the summit Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Martin Heydon TD, highlighted that: "The Summit provides an important platform to strengthen collaboration, promote innovation and entrepreneurship, and recognise the ongoing work by stakeholders to transition to a more sustainable and circular bioeconomy.”
