Congratulations to the Professional Development ePortfolio team of the Pharmacy Technician Studies Programme (TU654/TU657): Dr Tao Zhang, Dr Julie Dunne, Ms Kathy Young, Dr Gemma Kinsella and Dr Seána Hogan. Their case-study “Professional Development and Graduate Attributes within Pharmacy Technician Studies” has been included in the newly launched National Student Engagement Programme (NStEP) Resource Hub. Ms Kathy Young attended the launch on Thursday 01 December representing the team. This project engaged pharmacy technician students in the development of specially prioritised graduate attributes, leading to collaborative charitable and skills development initiatives over this two-year programme. The team would like to thank all contributors: the programme graduates and the industry partners and stakeholders who were involved in this research project for their time and support.

The National Student Engagement Programme (NStEP) was launched in April 2016 by the Higher Education Authority (HEA), Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) and the Union of Students in Ireland (USI). The NStEP Case Study Hub includes 19 case studies with good practice examples from students and staff across 11 higher education institutions in Ireland. Congratulations to all 46 authors for their incredible work, and well done to NStEP.
