Proteins to packaging – Bioeconomy in Action
As part of Bioeconomy Ireland Week 2025, the TU Dublin School of Food Science and Environmental Health will host an activity-based event in the Central Quad labs (CQ-335 on Grangegorman campus) lab on Friday 17th of October 2025.
There will be a variety of agri-food related applications of bioeconomy including demonstrations and hand on activities. For example, activities in our bioeconomy suite will include the use microalgae; some examples will focus on food waste valorisation/nutraceuticals/product development and others will look at bioplastic films from agricultural waste.
This free event is open to staff, students and members of the public of all ages. Please register for one of the sessions 10-11; 11-12 or 12-1 below by 30th Sept 2025.
