Women in Irish Whiskey hosted an International Women’s Day
Women in Irish Whiskey hosted an International Women’s Day Celebration on Friday, March 6th 2026, at the Midleton Distillery Experience in Midleton, Cork. This event was an opportunity for all stakeholders to come together and celebrate collaboration, shared progress, and the collective efforts that continue to strengthen and evolve Irish whiskey. Attendees included women from across all functions of the industry; distillation, production, sales, marketing, logistics, mixology and education. The event was an excellent networking and discussion opportunity with insights from:

· Jaime Jordan – General Manager at Midleton Distillery
· Aoife Clarke – Vice President Public Affairs & Alcohol in Society at Suntory Global Spirits
· Alice Carroll – Founder at Foxes Bow Irish Whiskey
Technological University Dublin and its Brewing & Distilling courses were represented by Katie Geraghty & Delphine Hungwe (undergraduate students), Judith Boyle (Lecturer in the School Culinary Arts and Food Technology), Rena Barry-Ryan (Lecturer in the School of Food Science & Environmental Health) and Susana Cazares Allera (postgraduate student).
