Microscopy Society of Ireland Annual Symposium 2023
Researchers from RESC, Prof Fiona Lyng and Dr. Isha Behl, attended the Microscopy Society of Ireland Annual Symposium (MSI2023) hosted by the Tyndall National Institute on Jan 18-20 2023. The symposium brought together researchers from Ireland and around the world for discussions on various microscopy themes such as advances in image analysis, solid-state physics, nanomedicine, as well as materials and biological microscopy applications. Fiona chaired the opening session which featured a plenary talk on quantum microscopy by Prof Seamus Davis, University College Cork. Isha presented a poster on RESC HRB funded research focussed on prediction of radiation toxicity in prostate cancer patients.
