Welcoming University of Delaware students on their Study Abroad Programme
TU Dublin has recently signed a collaborative agreement with the University of Delaware in the United States, establishing a framework for cooperation in research, teaching, and industrial engagement.
As an initial step in this partnership, the School of Physics, Clinical and Optometric Science is hosting a Study Abroad Programme for physics students from the University of Delaware led by Prof. S. Ismat Shah, who has coordinated the programme for more than 20 years.
On Monday, 26 January, a group of first‑year physics students joined visiting students from the University of Delaware for the “Stepping into the Doughnut” workshop, hosted by the TU Dublin Sustainability Education team. The session gave everyone a chance to explore the UN Sustainable Development Goals and planetary health boundaries together, while also giving the students time to connect and interact informally.
