| Activity | Academic class or related event, also a Room Booking |
| Combined Timetable | A timetable view of a Programme/Year and date range |
| CRN | Course Reference Number - unique identifier for an instance of a Module |
| Department | School |
| Host Key | Can mean different things depending on which view you are in, e.g. in 'Location' view, Host Key is the room code (e.g. CQ-203), in a list of staff it is staff number. For Modules it will be the CRN |
| Jointly Taught Activities | Where multiple modules are taught in one activity |
| Location | A Room (not be confused with a TU Dublin Building or Address) |
| Master Timetable | A week view |
| (Named) Availability | A week range (sequence of weeks e.g. Semester 1) |
| Planned Size | Number of Students |
| Problem | Timetabling clash (e.g. same lecturer booked at the same time, a room booked at the same time twice) |
| Programme of Study (POS) | Programme and Year e.g. TU001/1 |
| Resources | Tab on home screen where Locations (Rooms) and Staff and Student Sets (Groups) can be added/changed |
| Room Booking | Typically a 'One Off' booking for an event of a room/space that is usually used for teaching |
| Student Set | A class group e.g. TU001/1a, TU001/1b etc. |
| Suitabilities | Type of room, e.g. Lab, Lecture, Theatre, Kitchen, Concert Hall etc. |
| Writeback | Save, synchronising with central, cloud based, database |
| Zone | Building, e.g. Block B, Central Quad, Premier House |
