We will open SAF for applications on 13th January for those who have not yet applied for SAF in 2025/26


This scheme assists full-time students, registered on courses with high-class material costs- Fine Art, Interior Design, Visual Communications, Architecture, Graphic Design, Architectural Technology, Photography, Optometry Year 2, Culinary Arts Year 1 & Visual Merchandising.

Students are required to log in to the SSB portal to apply for financial aid (SAF) https://ssb.tudublin.ie/StudentSelfServiceThis is the same platform used to register for your program, add modules, check exam results, etc.

The assistance awarded is up to €500 per student, subject to eligibility criteria and funding. Applicants are not required to submit receipts when applying for this fund.

Important note: If you have received a SUSI Grant this year, you are required to submit your full 3 page SUSI Grant Award Letter with your application.

Yes, to be eligible a student must be repeating a minimum of 20 ects or 4 modules. External repeats are ineligible for funding from the SAF.
