Dr. Ammara Batool is an environmental scientist and postdoctoral researcher at TU Dublin specialising in climate change adaptation, nature-based solutions, and sustainable farming and resource management. Her interdisciplinary research focuses on climate resilience in Irish farming systems, particularly potato production, and integrates environmental science, agriculture, and social research. She works closely with farmers, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and stakeholders through citizen science approaches to co-produce knowledge on climate risks and adaptation strategies. Her work is supported by nationally and internationally funded projects in Ireland and Europe, and she brings strong expertise in statistical data analysis, including multivariate techniques applied to large-scale farmer survey datasets, to inform policy-relevant and scalable sustainability solutions.
