Post Doctoral Researchers

Dr. Onur Ertugrul is a Postdoctoral Researcher at TU Dublin working under the ARISE project, focusing on 3D printing of microfluidic chips, drug-eluting medical devices, and personalised medicine systems.

He is a materials scientist with expertise in metal and polymer additive manufacturing, powder technology, porous materials, composite material design, and surface treatments. His research bridges applied materials engineering with biomedical applications, with a particular interest in DLP 3D printing for advanced healthcare solutions.

Dr. Ertugrul has previously held academic and researcher positions at University College Dublin (I-Form), Leibniz IFW Institute Dresden, Izmir Katip Celebi University, and Dokuz Eylul University and has involved in a EU Horizon, in a Tubitak-funded project, and projects in collaboration with industry partners. His recent work also explores machine-learning-assisted process development and control for precision manufacturing.
