Dr Ciarán O’Carroll

Lecturer in Communications & Sustainability

Dr Ciarán O’Carroll is a lecturer in Enterprise and Sustainability at Technological University Dublin, based in the Faculty of Business. He is Chair of the Faculty of Business Sustainability Committee and Programme Coordinator for the Postgraduate Certificate in Sustainability Leadership. His teaching spans undergraduate, postgraduate and MBA programmes, with a focus on Business Sustainability, Communications, Organisation Behaviour, and Sustainability Leadership. His research focuses on decarbonisation, particularly in relation to artificial intelligence and the screen industry, with an emphasis on applied, industry-engaged scholarship. He also serves on the boards of Screen Ireland and the National Gallery of Ireland, contributing expertise in sustainability, governance and risk.
