Jury members in SciFest
On 2nd May, Nanolab PIs and PhD students served as jury members at SciFest 2025, hosted by the School of Food Science and Environmental Health at TU Dublin.
The team supported young innovators by evaluating and providing feedback on their scientific ideas and presentations. This outreach event facilitated direct engagement with over 80 secondary school students, offering a valuable platform for science communication and mentoring.
Postgraduate researchers had the opportunity to apply their expertise in sustainable technologies, environmental monitoring, and nanoscience, while also broadening their perspectives through interaction with the next generation of STEM learners.
Through such outreach activities, Nanolab continues to champion inclusive and accessible STEM education, while furthering TU Dublin’s mission of impactful, community-focused engagement.
