TU Dublin ARISE Showcase 2026: Connecting Research with Industry
The TU Dublin ARISE Showcase, held on 3 September 2026, provided an excellent opportunity to explore applied research and innovation, engage with industry, and identify potential opportunities for academic–industry collaboration.
Our team participated in the opening session and panel discussion, where the importance of strengthening industry engagement and translating research into practical applications was highlighted.
Our Nanolab stand was located outside CQ007, offering valuable opportunities to meet enterprise representatives, exchange ideas, and discuss potential collaborations between academia and industry.
We also enjoyed a range of insightful presentations across several research areas, including Advanced Characterisation Techniques and Instrumentation for Materials and Coatings; Advanced Materials and Surface Engineering in the Biopharma, Life Sciences and Medical Industries session (CQ211); Smart Self-Care Platforms for People Living with Dementia in the ICT and Financial Services session (CQ209); and presentations in Audiovisual, Creative and Cultural Industries (CQ304).
The showcase demonstrated the breadth of applied research and innovation at TU Dublin and highlighted the value of bringing researchers and industry partners together to exchange knowledge, explore shared interests, and develop future collaborations.
