Research Assistant position for ERASMU + project SAFETY4VET on Human Factors and Safety of Machinery (Closed)

 

The School of Food Science and Environmental Health, TU Dublin currently has a position available for a Research Assistant to be employed in an ERASMUS + project called SAFETY4VET that runs Up until July 2024 and requires a human factors and Ergonomics researcher to work on training needs analysis for the design of this vocational training program on safety of machinery. Concurrently we also need an ergonomist and Human factors practitioners in the Teaming AI Project as it needs to cover Ergonomics of Human Machine interaction in the context of manufacturing and AI based applications. The successful candidate for this position will take on the role of research assistant for both projects.  The Research Assistant will be involved with a wider research team within TU DUBLIN working on data collection and analysis, dissemination and communication regarding the project and reporting.

 

 

Job Description

The School is seeking to appoint a Research Assistant in for a project entitled ‘SAFETY4VET’ that runs Up until July 2024 and requires a human factors and Ergonomics researcher to work on training needs analysis for the design of this vocational training program on safety of machinery. The Research assistant will be involved with a wider research team within TU DUBLIN working on data collection and analysis, dissemination and communication regarding the project and reporting on a fixed term (12 months) specified purpose basis.
