Gouri Said : "This experience was immensely enriching, allowing me to engage in advanced techniques such as solvothermal synthesis of iron oxide nanoparticles, biofunctionalization of these nanoparticles using nano-chitosan, and bacterial protein separation using novel nanomaterials."

Gouri added : "Spending a month in China was truly an unforgettable experience. Exploring the rich culture, history, warm hospitality and generosity of the people in Henan was an added privilege alongside my research work."

Gouri expressed her heartfelt gratitude to her lead supervisor, Dr. Furong Tian, whose support and unwavering guidance made this opportunity possible. Gouri also sincerely thanked to her co-supervisor, Dr. Michelle Giltrap, for her continued support and mentorship. A special thank  to Prof. Xueyan Zou and her team (Gao Mochou, Zhang Xinzhe, Feng Wenhua, Yin Xueyao, Miao Xun and Li Xinning) of Henan University for the exceptional hospitality and warm welcome Gouri received during her stay. Gouri was grateful for the research funding provided by TU Dublin Researcher Award, which made this opportunity possible.

After Dr. Julie Dunne and Prof. Chrisitine O'Connor visited Henan University for MOU signature.  Gouri is the first one to take research collaborative project with Henan University.  Her successful experience built up foundation for further collaboration between two universities.
