Programme Title: Certificate in Endoscope Decontamination (Minor Award)
** The online Minor Awards in RIMD Decontamination, Endoscope Decontamination and Primary Care Decontamination commence next week. The Microbiology Minor Award where students will study Microbiology and Practical Microbiology over the coming academic term for this Microbiology Minor Award will commence on Wednesday evening September 29th. An email communication with details of how students may access online lectures will go out to all registered students in the coming days in advance of the commencement of the programs next week.
Certificate in Microbiology (TU5262) is a pre requisite for this course.
This course was designed after extensive consultation for hospital staff working in Endoscopy units and also staff working in relevant medical supply companies. This program will provide the scientific background behind and practical skills required for the successful decontamination of Endoscopes.

- Biodecontamination – Workshop (in TU Dublin Tallaght)
The course consists of online lectures and practical workshops (practical work 2-3 days towards the end of semester) which are carried out in TU Dublin Tallaght. Decontamination Minor award runs in the Spring semester.
