External Examiners
External Examiners must be employed in respect of the assessed work of a programme leading to an award of the University in order to provide an annual peer judgement on the standards achieved at the completion of the programme.

Confirmation/Transfer External Examiners – Postgraduate Research
for the Graduate Research School are dealt with through the Graduate Research School Office
External Assessors
External Assessors attend validation/review events as external panel members who are experts in the field under approval/review.
