Green Week 2026
TU Dublin is calling on students, staff and the wider community to get involved in the co-creation of a week of environmental action on campus and beyond.
TU Dublin Green Week is an annual celebration of innovation and partnerships for environmental action and sustainability education. The celebration aims to mobilise TU Dublin's ecosystem of advocates who are advancing the sustainability agenda and accelerating TU Dublin's performance on climate action across programmes, schools, societies, projects, professional services and operations. Together we can inspire a sustainable future for all and establish TU Dublin as one of the most environmentally sustainable universities in the world.
Monday 2 to Friday 6 March
A range of events, activities and opportunities will take place across each campus location and we welcome proposals from all our people - please submit your event or activity with this form to have it feature on the Green Week schedule and communications.
Apply for funding for an event!
Funding (up to a maximum value of €3,000 across all 5 TU Dublin campuses) is available to Green Campus Network members to support Green Week events and activities that mobilise young people and the Green-Campus Network in local level action.
Proposals for funding must be submitted using this form by Thursday 12 February.
Decisions to fund will be made to encourage participation across all campus locations and will consider the feasibility of the event proposed, and its alignment with Green-Campus themes (Air Quality; Biodiversity; Energy; Green ICT; Greening Laboratories; Litter & Waste; Transport & Travel; and Water).
TU Dublin welcomes all students and staff to get involved in the Green-Campus Network as a member. The focus of membership is engagement and mobilisation of the campus community and the delivery of a Green-Campus calendar of events and activities. Click here to become part of the Network!
