TU Dublin Sustainability 2025-2026 Academic Year Welcome
TU Dublin Orientation will take place between 09 September – 12 September 2025, and the Sustainability Team at TU Dublin is delighted to welcome new and returning students to campus for the start of the 2025-2026 Academic Year. During Orientation all incoming students at TU Dublin will participate in a programme of sustainability and climate action activities, including an Introduction to Sustainability workshop session.
TU Dublin is proud to be recognised as a leader in sustainability - not just in Ireland, but across Europe and the World. Ranked 1st in Europe and 17th globally for sustainability in higher education, we’re setting the standard for protecting our planet and people through innovation, education, and action. As a new student, you’re joining Ireland’s top university for graduate employability and one of the most sustainable universities in the world.
During Orientation and the extended Student Life Festival and Student Volunteering Fair, meet fellow students, staff, and leaders who are shaping a brighter, greener future. From climate action to healthy living, from community projects to innovative learning spaces, discover how sustainability is embedded in everything we do. Learn how you can get involved from, make an impact, and grow into the kind of changemaker our world needs.
Welcoming students to TU Dublin, Vice President for Sustainability, Jennifer Boyer said: "As you begin your journey at TU Dublin, you join a campus community committed to advancing sustainability. The challenges we face are great, but so is your potential to be part of the solution. Through learning, action, and leadership, you have the power to shape a more just and resilient world. Together, let's inspire a more sustainable future."
