Beatriz Lorenzo-Gonzalez Executive MBA, PMP certified, MSc Information and Technology Services Direction, Engineer in IT Organisation - Deputy Head of Technology Services – IT Operations and Service Delivery.
Beatriz Lorenzo-Gonzalez has over 20 years of experience as a senior IT manager in multiple roles, including Information and Technology Projects, Services and Operations organisation and direction across multiple industries at large multinational companies. She has led digital transformation programmes and overseen the End-to-End delivery of IT roadmaps and IT strategical portfolio succeeding in reducing costs, standardising the operations and optimizing results.
With a passion for continuous improvement and eager to drive socially responsible initiatives, she believes a higher education that foster diversity, equality and sustainability as fundamental pillars is the leverage that help creating a better world to live. Her goal is to provide TU Dublin with standard, digital and cost-effective solutions to deliver the best possible learning experience and the best possible environment for our students and colleagues.
Beatriz and her team are building the digital enablers to support the University strategic goals. This includes delivering robust physical and cloud network infrastructure across campuses, modernising IT landscape with energy-efficient ecosystems to promote circular economy; unifying identities domains and processes for efficiency and agility for students and staff; consolidating data centres, standardising data storage and backup solutions to embed sustainable practices in our operations; securing our operations to ensure internal compliance and regulatory adherence; collaborating with industry, partners, people and academia to drive innovation, fostering a culture that cares.
Beatriz strives for continuous improvement and finds joy in learning new things, travelling to different places, and spending time with positive, upbeat people.
