Mark joined TU Dublin in March 2023 after two decades in Tourism Ireland where he was the Director of Central Marketing & Sustainability. He previously worked in research and strategy roles in the technology sector and in consultancy.
He is the author of the best-selling book In Fact: An Optimist’s Guide to Ireland at 100 – the first to take an unapologetically positive approach to telling the story of Ireland’s progress.
He holds an MA in Psychology from University College Dublin, an MBA from Smurfit Business School, and a PhD from the University of Westminster. He is an editorial board member of The Journal of Brand Strategy.
