Societal Engagement & Sustainability Coordination Lead

Heidi's role is key to establishing TU Dublin’s reputation and voice as a champion of sustainability. Heidi supports the development of engagement programmes, campaigns, and events to raise awareness among staff, existing and prospective students, and the wider national and international community, of the potential impact of sustainability-focused initiatives across TU Dublin’s academic and operational activities.

Heidi has joined the team having worked as the Sustainability, Education & Engagement Lead in TU Dublin on the National Technological University TransfOrmation for Recovery and Resilience (N-TUTORR) project.

Heidi has extensive student engagement experience and spent six years as the Student Retention Officer in the Enrolment Planning & Admissions Office of TU Dublin. Prior to this role, Heidi was the Student Retention and Marketing Officer at DIT’s School of Hospitality Management & Tourism, leading on school marketing, engagement and student retention activities.

Heidi holds a degree in English, Media & Cultural Studies from the Institute of Art, Design & Technology in Dun Laoghaire, a Masters in Sociology from University College Dublin and a Postgraduate Certificate in Sustainability Leadership from TU Dublin. She has completed CPDs in marketing, data analysis and higher education policy.
