Dr. Artemisa Jaramillo is a distinguished academic and industry expert in digital consumer behaviour, interactive media, and emerging technologies. She holds a Professional Certificate in AI & Business Strategy from MIT, a Ph.D. in Digital Consumer Behaviour from Dublin City University, an MSc in International Management from DCU & Northeastern University, and a BSc in Business Administration (Magna Cum Laude) from Universidad de las Américas, Mexico.
Dr. Jaramillo teaches a range of marketing modules across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including:

Her teaching approach merges industry collaboration, experiential learning, and emergent technologies. She has been awarded Teaching Excellence Awards at both national and international levels for her innovative contributions to learning.

Innovation: Dr. Jaramillo’s approach centers on industry-applied, tech-driven interdisciplinary projects that foster real-world problem-solving on a global scale. Highlights include:
- Developed curricula in marketing, technology/ digital business, digital transformation, and innovation for DCU, PNU, Miirai, and ANUIES.
- Hackathon Judge/Mentor for international challenges such as MIT Hacking Medicine, NYUAD Hackathon, and NASA App Challenge.
- Founded GCC Blockchain Community and #SaudiMX to bridge tech ecosystems across MENA/LATAM.
- Collaborated with Fortune 500 companies (IBM, SABIC) on scaling tech solutions and delivered workshops on emergent tech adoption in Japan, Mexico, and Saudi Arabia.
- Led international collaborations, including DCU’s dual- degree program at Princess Nourah University (PNU), developing projects with over 20 global partners.

- Arab Women in Computing (ArabWIC): Served as Global Marketing Chair (2018–2019), awarded Top Women in Computing Community 2018 by Anita Borg Institute.
- GCC Blockchain Community: Founded a 500+ member group to advance blockchain adoption in MENA.

Dr. Jaramillo actively translates research on emerging technologies into practical business solutions, corporate training programs, and innovative commercial products. She has facilitated impactful educational programs and industry collaborations with over 50 government and industry partners across Ireland, Saudi Arabia, Japan, and Mexico. She has also made expert contributions to national TV weekly (Channel Eleven, Mexico).
Global Speaker and Mentor: Dr. Jaramillo has delivered presentations at over 200 global conferences, engaging over 300,000 individuals, and actively mentors entrepreneurs, policymakers, and educators.
