Dr Ciaran O'Carroll

Dr. Ciaran O’Carroll holds a PhD in Environmental Chemistry and brings a multidisciplinary perspective to sustainability, marketing, and communication within higher education. He currently serves as Programme Coordinator of the Postgraduate Certificate in Sustainability Leadership at Technological University Dublin, where he is responsible for the strategic development and academic delivery of the programme. 

In addition to coordinating the Sustainability Leadership programme, Dr. O’Carroll teaches an MBA-level module in Sustainability and contributes to several undergraduate and postgraduate marketing modules, including Communications and Organisational Behaviour. He plays an active role in internationalising the curriculum, fostering global academic collaborations that enrich the student learning experience through cross-cultural and interdisciplinary engagement.

Dr. O’Carroll maintains a strong connection with industry, particularly through his involvement with partners in the Irish Film and Television sector. His applied work bridges sustainability goals with media and cultural industries.
