Dr. Margaret-Anne currently delivers modules in Marketing and Marketing Communications at undergraduate and postgraduate level, including the BSc. Business and Management, MSc Advertising and Creativity, MSc Marketing, and MBA programmes.
She supervises executive consultancy projects, undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations, as well as doctoral research.
Margaret-Anne is currently the lead supervisor of funded PhD research examining the consumer intention- behaviour gap relating to sustainability in a tourism context. She has also acted as an External and Internal Examiner of PhD theses in Ireland and the UK.
Research Interests
Her research interests include advertising literacy amongst children and teenagers; virtual influencer marketing; brand activism; the environmental, economic and social dimensions of sustainability.

- Margaret-Anne has published over fifty articles in Irish practitioner publications including Marketing. ie, Irish Marketing Journal and Shelflife.
- Elsewhere, five articles relating to sustainability, rebranding, influencer marketing and children’s pester power have been published on RTÉ’s Brainstorm platform.

She also has presented papers at a number of international academic conferences such as the American Marketing Association’s Summer Educators’ Conference, the Academy of Marketing’s annual conference, and the Child and Teen Consumption International Conference.

She is also a member of a number of TU Dublin Communities of Practice including the Gen AI, Advertising & Communications, and SDG Literacy communities.
