Sarah Strange

Sarah Strange is an experienced lecturer in marketing and communications, teaching across both undergraduate and postgraduate levels at TU Dublin. She facilitates a broad range of modules including Strategic Marketing, Market Research, Consumer Insights, Communications, and Marketing Communications. With a strong industry-facing approach, she actively collaborates with businesses and social enterprises to develop client and consulting projects that provide students with hands-on, real-world experience.

  • Postfeminist Consumer Culture
  • Consumer Narratives and Netnography 

Sarah’s PhD research explores how female identity is constructed within postfeminist consumer culture, particularly through the lens of new domesticity. Her work adopts a critical and qualitative perspective, contributing to wider conversations on gender, media, and consumer behaviour. 

Academic Leadership 

Sarah serves as Programme Coordinator for several postgraduate programmes that sit at the intersection of marketing, creativity, and leadership:

  • TU5526 Postgraduate Certificate in Leadership in Creative Commercial Communications 

She also plays a key role in TU Dublin’s partnership with the ENFUSE programme (a joint initiative with LEO and Dublin City Council), connecting postgraduate students with local and social enterprises for experiential, impact-driven learning. 

Sarah brings a blend of critical insight, industry collaboration, and academic leadership to her teaching and programme development—championing socially aware, culturally attuned, and creatively inspired marketing education.
