Funded by the Higher Education Authority (HEA) and designed for second-level students, our camps provide a hands-on introduction to digital security, ethical hacking, and problem-solving in a fun and engaging environment.

What Is Cybersecurity?
Cybersecurity focuses on understanding, protecting, and shaping the digital world. From safeguarding personal data to defending global systems, cybersecurity plays a critical role in modern life.
Our summer camps introduce students to these concepts through interactive challenges and real-world scenarios, showing how digital skills can be used to solve meaningful problems.
What You’ll Experience
Participants take part in a variety of engaging, hands-on workshops led by experienced lecturers and student mentors. Activities are designed to be accessible, interactive, and enjoyable—no prior experience required. Some of our previous summer camp activities are listed below.
Hands-On Cyber Challenges (Capture the Flag)

- Take part in interactive cybersecurity challenges using CTF-style platforms
- Solve puzzles involving logic, investigation, and digital problem-solving
- Learn how cybersecurity professionals analyse and respond to threats
- Experience real-world inspired scenarios through engaging, story-based challenges
Cyber Scavenger Hunt & Team Missions

- Participate in a campus-wide cyber scavenger hunt
- Combine physical exploration with digital problem-solving
- Work in teams to uncover clues, scan QR codes, and complete missions
- Build collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills
Online Safety & Digital Awareness
- Learn how to stay safe online in everyday situations
- Explore key topics such as passwords, privacy, and digital identity
- Engage with interactive games that reinforce cybersecurity awareness
- Understand the importance of protecting yourself and others online
A Collaborative Learning Experience
Our camps are designed to be social, inclusive, and team-oriented. Students work together to solve challenges, earn points, and compete in a friendly and supportive environment.
Activities are guided by academic staff and supported by student ambassadors, creating a welcoming space where participants can learn, experiment, and grow in confidence.
Who Can Take Part?
- Second-level students (typically ages 13–17)
- No prior experience in cybersecurity or coding required
- Ideal for students interested in technology or problem-solving
