Abstract: In this talk, we prove the asymptotic stability of smooth solitons and multi-solitons in the energy space for the Camassa-Holm (CH) equation. Our approach is based on a new use of the integrable structure of CH: we exploit the commutativity between the recursion operator and the linearized operator to obtain a complete spectral resolution even though the soliton profile is implicit and the operator is nonlocal. This explicit spectral decomposition, combined with weighted semigroup estimates, yields a nonlinear Liouville-type rigidity theorem that leads to full asymptotic stability without relying on virial identities or Evans-function techniques.
