Mathematical Sciences welcomes applicants to the Spring Open Day 2022

Published: 26 Mar, 2022

The Spring Open Day 2022 for courses based in Grangegorman within the new Faculty of Computing, Digital and Data was held on 26 March 2022.

CAO applicants looking to study the School's full-time undergraduate programme, TU874 BSc (Hons) Mathematical Sciences, were invited to an open day this month to find out more and ask questions.  Mathematics is a highly flexible degree, much sought after by employers, and it was an opportunity to talk about careers for mathematicians and the requirements for the programme.

The open day was a lively and engaging event where applicants interested in studying courses based in Grangegorman had the opportunity to meet academic staff, explore the campus and find out more about their study options and the university.  As always, it was a welcoming and informal occasion with a fantastic atmosphere and the School of Mathematical Sciences talked to the applicants for its programmes, providing useful information, an insight into student life and study, and an opportunity to see our fabulous new facilities and computer laboratories in the purpose-built Central Quad building.

Academic staff at the School's table were joined by current students who gave an important student-centred viewpoint and an opportunity to chat about studying (and socialising) at TU Dublin.

Thank you to all those that took part and we look forward to welcoming many more students to our next open day in the Autumn.
