Student placements at Bank of Ireland

The School of Mathematics & Statistics was delighted to visit one of its work placement students at Bank of Ireland's Dublin offices.
Bank of Ireland is a leading financial institution in the country and the School of Mathematics & Statistics is delighted to maintain this strong relationship to bring benefits and opportunities to its students.
Year 3 student Cian Mullen has been working under manager Adam O'Connor from the Origination & Intermediaries team at Bank of Ireland Corporate since early this year. Cian's work has involved working with the domestic private equity-led leveraged acquisitions group. We are very grateful to Adam for supporting Cian and providing him with this invaluable experience.
Our partnership with Bank of Ireland is one of a wide variety of opportunities offered to all students on our full-time undergraduate programme, TU874 BSc Mathematical & Statistics allowing them to experience the important use of mathematics and statistics as a fundamental tool in businesses, step in to the corporate world, and develop the skills they will need to start and develop their careers.
We wish all our students the very best with the remainder of their placements.
