Patrick Flynn, Head of School

Patrick Flynn is the Head of the School of Architecture, Building and Environment. Patrick is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland and an internationally recognised leader in architectural education. At a Faculty level he has led curriculum development, programme design and validation at university level, ensuring high-quality and forward-looking provision. He brings strong expertise in academic leadership, quality assurance, and international collaboration. He is one of ten elected council members of the EAAE (European Association for Architectural Education) which has over 140-member schools in Europe. He is the co-editor and contributor of a book titled Rethinking The Crit published by Routledge, New York & London.
