Online Registration

Your University email account

Once each CAO round of offers has ended, you will receive an email from getonline@tudublin.ie with instructions on how to activate your TU Dublin student email account. This email will be sent to the email address that you supplied to the CAO. We will always use your TU Dublin email address for communications during the academic year, so it is essential to check your University email account daily. We will also send your registration email to this address, so it is important to activate it as soon as possible.

Online Registration

The University must complete a number of checks before your registration can proceed. Student records are being progressed to our Student Records System in batches, and we are working to complete these checks as quickly as possible before the Registration Office issues your Invitation to Register (ITR) email. Your ITR will contain all the information you need to complete your online registration and fee payment.

We will also send you two digital magazines which will provide lots of valuable information such as details of your orientation session to help get you off to the best start.

Paying your Fees

Your invitation to register (ITR) email will provide you with the information that you need to pay your fees.  You can pay your fees online with a debit/credit card or provide details of your SUSI grant.

To register on your programme and gain access to University services, you will need to pay a minimum of 25% of your annual fee before commencing classes. For most undergraduate first-year students, this means a payment of €750, which is a quarter of the annual fee for students who have not attended college previously. If you have applied for a SUSI grant, please follow the online registration instructions for registering using your SUSI application number.

A further 25% of your programme fee must be paid by  31 October.   The remaining 50% of the fee can be paid in multiple payments online/or by bank transfer and must be paid in full by  31 January.

Please read the additional information relating to Online Registration and Paying your Fees.
