Student ID Cards can be obtained by visiting our Student Hubs in Rathdown House, Grangegorman or Aungier Street (beside Grumpy Mule Café on Ground floor).
How to obtain your Student ID Card if you are a Full-time Student
- If you are a full-time student an image can be uploaded at the following link Student ID Card Photo Upload
- The image must comply with the guidelines provided in the image upload link. It should be noted that the maximum size of image is 150Kb so it may be necessary to use an online compression tool to reduce the size of the image prior to uploading.
How to obtain your Student ID Card if you are a Part-time Student

If you are a part‑time student, you can forward your image in JPEG format for your student ID card to parttimeid.city@tudublin.ie.When processed your card will be posted to your home address, it is important that you inform the Student Hub Desk of any changes to your contact details so that we have the most up-to-date information on your student record.
- Part-time students can also have their ID Cards issued in person at the Student Hubs during the opening hours detailed below:
