David Irwin

Academic Quality Advisor & Academic Integrity Manager

After obtaining primary and master’s degrees from University College Cork, David received his doctorate from Ulster University. Also, he holds a LLB in Law from Griffith College Dublin, a Professional Diploma in Professional Regulation from University College Dublin, and a Diploma in Corporate Governance from the Corporate Governance Institute. He is currently studying for the Bar. In addition, he is a member of conduct and disciplinary boards with a number of professional regulatory bodies as well as holding membership of a number of statutory quasi-judicial committees.

As Academic Integrity Manager he has university-wide responsibility for academic integrity, fitness to practice, fitness to continue to study, and quality enhancement.
