Teaching Stories

Launching in 2026, 'Teaching Stories' will be a new series showcasing the creativity, innovation, and excellence of teaching across our university.  Throughout the year, the Learning, Teaching and Assessment team will work with staff who teach at TU Dublin to capture inspiring examples of practice through short case studies and educator vignettes. The video stories will be informal, engaging, and accessible, offering a glimpse into the approaches, ideas, and innovations that educators are bringing to their teaching.

If you opt to help us to co-create a video, each 3-5 minute story might include footage of teaching spaces or classes, teaching materials, audio narration, or a face-to-face conversation with the educator. The format and style will be shaped collaboratively, as we want to give you creative control over how your story is told and ensure that you are happy with the final result. 

Above all, Teaching Stories will be about sharing ideas: celebrating excellent practice, sparking conversations, and offering practical takeaways that colleagues can adapt and bring into their own teaching.

We are currently developing the first tranche of our teaching stories with the 2026-2027 LTA Affiliates but if you have an Idea for one, or would like to be featured, please contact the Learning, Teaching and Assessment (LTA) team.
